Paul Lamar Hunter Autobiography Tells The Rare Story Success

Life coach, public speaker and author, Paul Lamar Hunter is telling his success story which went against the odds expected in his family situation, in his debut book, No Love, No Charity: the Success of the 19th Child, an autobiographical tale of his life.

When Hunter, forty-six, does any public speaking, the message he always tries to convey is that it is possible to achieve any set goals with hard work and commitment. Though he was born in Wisconsin to a family of twenty-one children, Hunter earned an Associate Degree in Supervisory Management from Gateway Technical College In 2005 and in 2012, he became the first in his family to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Upper Iowa University. He is the nineteenth child out of twenty-one natural children. Being the father of four children, Hunter told Rollingout he believes education is one of the most valuable keys to a successful life and children should be exposed to reading as frequently as possible.

Now, he has a new book out which is No Love, No Charity: the Success of the 19th child, the inspirational debut book of Hunter’s life. Though it may be difficult to imagine Hunter having a success story, due to his large family, reading about the incomparable odds he faced growing up and reaching his goals can be an inspiration to anyone with a challenging past. No Love, No Charity: the Success of the 19th Child illustrates the struggles of living through poverty, neglect, dysfunction, and even deaths. Although many people who have lived in poverty cannot relate to having as many siblings as Hunter, the hardships of poverty are a familiarity which many people continue to endure. Hunter uses his life story as a testament to how varying factors of social restraints or family lineage do not automatically determine the quality of a person’s life.

Hunter is the child of James Senior and Louise Hunter, who founded their own contribution to their community with a homeless shelter. Mrs.Hunter, better known as ‘Mother Hunter’ founded the Love and Charity Homeless Shelter in the 1970s, with the help of her husband. They provided shelter services to those in the Racine and surrounding Counties within the State of Wisconsin and Shelby County. In addition to providing a place to stay, the shelter handed out food baskets and made it a focus to help homeless children with their homework. Though the shelter was supposed to be a haven for the demoralized citizens, it was actually the breeding ground for dysfunction and despondency. Despite Paul’s misfortunes and failures, his determined spirit and his unshakeable faith lifted him above the fray to become the first in his family to graduate from college. Now moving full-speed ahead, Paul Lamar Hunter believes that through faith, resilience, and determination, any dream can be achieved.
