We have one life, enjoy it while it lasts

BY SABRINA S. – 14 YEARS OLD

Do you believe in reincarnation? I feel as though this subject is very controversial, and it might be as complicated as Canadian history.

Everyone has their beliefs, and we should never judge anyone on what they believe in. We should respect one another; live like we aren’t enemies but as friends.

If reincarnation does happen, what would you want to be reincarnated as?

I would want to be reincarnated as a different person, maybe take ‘starting a new life’ to a whole new level. Being brought back as an animal would be really cool.

The only downside to being reincarnated as an animal would be how they get treated.

Animals are wiping out like flies; humans don’t respect animals at all. It would definitely be a challenge.

I would not like to be an insect because humans don’t like most insects as well.

Take myself as one example, I hate it when mosquitoes bite me and would enjoy my house fly-free.

If reincarnation does occur, then what were we in a past-life? Was I an animal or insect? Was I just a human? Or is this my first chance at life? We will never know.

Life is confusing, it is hard and bumpy like a roller-coaster with multiple ups and downs.

None of us know what happens after we die, we might come back or just remain as ghosts wandering our house like those in movies.

Whatever happens, we only have one chance at making this enjoyable.

Live like there is no tomorrow because there might not be. Do something you always wanted to but never got the chance. Have fun and enjoy it while it lasts.
