2023 The year of closing the gap; Use the wisdom to have your best year yet!

BY AKUA GARCIA

Jupiter In Aries

On December 20th, 2022, Jupiter moved into Aries for the first time in 12 years. This is a complete Jupiter cycle. Now in the cardinal sign of Aries, it is ushering a big wave of new beginnings! Jupiter is the sign of expansion, wisdom and prosperity.

Aries is the sign of: self, passion, drive, ambition and the great I Am. For the next five months, Jupiter will be expanding our ambitions, providing wisdom to our passions and providing an opportunity for life changing growth and evolution. It is time to wake up, grow up and show out.

Jupiter spent some time here this summer; think back to where you were challenged to grow, be your own guru and apply wisdom to your experiences. More of this energy will follow this year.

The last time Jupiter was in Aries was back in 2010/2011; reflect on what was happening in your life around this time. Look back on how much you have grown and expanded since then. What themes emerged at that time, what have you closed out since then? These reflections will give you good insight into how you have evolved and give you direction for “growing” forward.

Jupiter in Aries can bring about great prosperity. It can also expand the anger in those that have not done the work. The shadow side of Aries is anger and war. The shadow side of Jupiter is arrogance and greed. Be sure to check your own shadow blind spots before rushing ahead.

Jupiter also brings out that playing in your face energy, fortunately when Saturn moves next March that shit won’t fly. Do the work or pay the cost. There’s no running from work. Do it willingly and expand or get dragged and drowned. The choice is always ours.

Cardinal signs: Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn will be impacted by this transit the most.  Check your chart to see where you have Aries, this will be the area of growth and expansion for the next five months.

Capricorn Season

Time to ground your experiences for 2022 and celebrate your wins! We are in a season of closure. Jupiter in Pisces was a closure to Jupiter’s transit around the zodiac. This is our final quarter of Pluto in Capricorn, and we are in the tail end of the lunar nodes in Taurus and Scorpio.

We have faced our dreams and nightmares; we had to fine tune our values and do deep shadow work to release the past all while the global systems and structures are tumbling down.  You have learned a lot; we have grown a lot. You have expanded and evolved a lot. This was a year of doing THA BLOODCL@T WORK!!!  CELEBRATE YOUR BLOODCL@T WINS!!!

Capricorn is the sea-goat. She can swim through emotions and build huge mountains of success: both are needed for our legacy. Capricorn manages our legacy. She teaches us to work smarter instead of harder. We have to be comfortable in the discomfort of our emotions at times to reach the mountaintop of success. Use this season to reflect on your foundation, identify where you stand, where you want to go and what’s in your gap to getting there. Then proceed to close your gap so you can start your new year ready to soar to the mountain of your legacy.

We have been through a lot, but experience brings wisdom. Use the wisdom to have your best year yet!
