In a city pulsing with innovation, a powerful force returns to Toronto this October, promising to transform lives. Black Women Talk Tech’s Roadmap to Billions conference, back for its second year; it’s where dreams meet opportunity, where potential finds its wings.

Have you ever wondered what happens when underestimated talent gains the spotlight? When barriers fall and pathways open? That’s precisely what unfolds when Black women founders take center stage in Toronto’s tech ecosystem.

Presented by Accelerate Auto and supported by industry giants like Air Canada and the Black Founders Network, this October 5-6 event builds on last year’s momentum with even greater ambition. The convergence of automotive and technology sectors creates unprecedented opportunities if you know where to look.

Shannon Miller of Accelerate Auto puts it perfectly, “As the automotive and technology sectors continue to converge, it is critical that Black women are deliberately engaged in these conversations and opportunities.”

This is about revolution. The conference features powerhouses like Hon. Marci Ien, Yolanda Biswah of Canadian Black Book, and Melisa Ellis of Nobellum, each bringing unique insights that could change your trajectory.

What makes Roadmap to Billions different? It’s built by Black women founders, for Black women founders and their allies. The Mentor Marketplace connects emerging entrepreneurs with industry leaders, while the Pitch Competition offers non-dilutive capital, a game-changer for many startups.

The Week of Women in Tech, a series of community events leading up to the conference, extends this impact beyond the conference walls, creating ripples throughout Toronto’s innovation ecosystem.

When we gather in spaces designed for our success, something magical happens. We build families. We transform. This is the power of community-centered innovation.

As we witness this transformation, one question emerges: Will you be part of the revolution that’s reshaping Canada’s tech landscape? Your journey begins at https://lu.ma/rtbtoronto.
