Never give up on the things that make you smile

BY SABRINA S.
11 YEARS OLD

During the scholastic shutdown along with doctor’s recommendations and government advisors, kids can cope with this emergency by keeping ourselves physically and mentally fit- social distancing, washing hands frequently for twenty seconds, usage of masks, hand sanitizers, avoiding unnecessary outside visits.

Along with online classes, I can suggest a few things that can keep everyone active and healthy. Learning about your family history is very amusing and it’s good to know your ancestors and culture. It’s time for us to make a bucket list! Start a journal stating activities you will do after quarantine ends. Let’s get creative and name our own yoga poses. Let’s make a time capsule, start by putting your favourite things and memories in a decorative box, so that after a year do you can refresh those memories. We should realize the free resources provided by the government or the recommended companies. There are many educational places like museums, zoos and historical landmarks offering virtual field trips, this will not only entertain us but also increase our knowledge.

“writing is only reading turned inside out quotes.”  explore new books.

Do some gardening “leave room in your garden for the angels to dance.”

The last and the most important activity not only for kids but also for every member of the family is physical and mental health. We should all try to spend quality time no matter how tough the situation is.

“Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.”
